A fight suddenly breaks out in the classroom.

R is a big, strong kid—physically imposing, tough, and known for being good at fighting.

U is small in stature, but very smart, especially when it comes to computers and the internet.

The two of them used to be good friends. Their desks were right next to each other.

But then, because R suddenly decided he didn't like the boundary between their desks, he punched U.

Normally, the class president would step in and stop a fight like this. But instead, the class president just stands over there shouting, “Hey, you two, stop fighting!”

Meanwhile, many of the other kids around them are handing U everything he might need for the fight—knives, baseball bats, rocks, you name it.

Even J, a quiet kid who wears glasses and who himself was once badly beaten—almost half to death—in another fight, apparently got involved and started handing U things to fight with.

R doesn't have many friends on his side, but C, who has recently been doing much better in class, has started cheering for R.

And then there's A.

A has, at least in name, been regarded as the kid who runs the class lately.

At last, A steps in, apparently to mediate the fight.

But—wait for it!

There are rumors that, behind the scenes, A is actually handing both U and R the very things they need to keep fighting.

Wait, wait, wait!

Hold on!!

They're fighting, aren't they?

Shouldn't somebody be trying to STOP the fight?

Why is everyone so obsessed with helping one side beat the other?

Isn't there even ONE person in this whole class willing to step in and actually stop the fight?

What?

Nobody?

Not a single person?

Hmm...

Something doesn't seem right here.

Something is seriously strange...
